The Mackenzie Building is home to the largest clinical laboratory in Atlantic Canada. Doctors and patients can drop off specimens for diagnostic laboratory testing at this location.

Drop off box: 24 hour a day, seven days a week
Water Testing Dropoff Site
Samples must be collected using the water testing bottles provided by NS Health. E.Coli & Coliform testing is a white top 100 ML bottle / Chemical & Mineral testing is a black top 200 ML bottle

Monday to Thursday - after hours drop off located at the 1st floor Mackenzie specimen receiving desk between 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Note: Bacteria samples not accepted after 3:00 p.m. on Fridays
