volunteers

“Virtual reality and simulation-based learning have a tremendous role to play in the future of surgery and the future of surgical training.” – Dr. David Clarke, Head of Neurosurgery.

Nurses, residents and surgeons at NSHA are learning and improving their skills through a virtual reality environment, similar to what people are using for gaming. Virtual reality and simulation-based learning improves skill and confidence among clinicians and with that, increases patient safety.
