Since 2015, Carmelle d’Entremont serves as the Vice-President of People and Organizational Development with the Nova Scotia Health Authority.

She oversees the organization’s interprofessional practice and learning portfolio, as well as people services functions, such as talent and organizational development, recruitment and retention, employee relations, occupational health, safety and wellness, and benefits and compensation.

Prior to this role, Carmelle had over 25 years’ experience in the Nova Scotia public sector with leadership roles in the fields of adult learning, immigration, employment development and workforce planning.  She served as the provincial co-lead for Transition and Design Team that merged the nine health authorities to create one organization.

Carmelle holds a bachelor degree from the University of King’s College and a master of arts from Dalhousie University.
