Carmelle D'Entremont

With more than 25 years experience in the Nova Scotia public service, Carmelle d’Entremont is a dynamic leader who has had progressive management roles in adult learning, immigration, labour market and employment development, and workforce planning.   In her most recent role as executive director of Health System Workforce with the Nova Scotia Department of Health and Wellness, Carmelle was responsible for labour relations, health human resource planning, the regulation of health professions, and overseeing the provincial nursing strategy. For the past year, she has served as the provincial co-lead for the District Health Authority Consolidation Transition and Design Team.    Carmelle holds a bachelor degree from the University of King’s College and a master of arts from Dalhousie University, and has completed the Public Service Executive Leadership Program.
