Emergency department traffic to be rerouted to Hants Community Hospital’s front entrance as paving project continues

WINDSOR, N.S. – A project to pave the parking lot at Hants Community Hospital and Haliburton Place continues with Phase 3 starting Tuesday, July 16.

During this phase, there will be no access to the hospital’s emergency department entrance.

Emergency department traffic, including Emergency Health Services, will be rerouted to the front entrance of the facility.

There will be signs posted at entrances to direct traffic.

Phase 3 is expected to be completed by the end of July.

Work on this paving project started May 27 and will last eight to 10 weeks.

Nova Scotia Health Authority will continue to provide regular updates to the public. Thank you for your patience as we work to improve access to our facilities.
