The 11 Community Health Boards (CHBs) of the western zone of Nova Scotia Health Authority (NSHA) are pleased to announce that nearly $180,000 of funding has been provided for projects that support local population health priorities.
Nova Scotia Health Authority (NSHA) Public Health is hoping more parents of children born in 2011 will respond to its immunization survey. Launched province-wide in late November, the survey is meant to highlight the challenges and barriers parents and guardians face when immunizing their children.

Some programs and services within Nova Scotia Health Authority (NSHA) will begin relocating to a new building this week. Starting Friday, Jan. 24 and continuing over the next few weeks, programs and services at 235 Townsend Street in Sydney will relocate to a new building at 795 Alexandra Street, Sydney (Prime Brook site). These programs and services include Child and Adolescent Mental Health & Addiction Services, Public Health, Accounts Receivable Service Centre, Payroll, Facilities Management & Support and Primary Health Care’s administrative offices.
