Parking lot paving project at Hants Community Hospital to start soon

WINDSOR, N.S. – A project to pave the parking lot at Hants Community Hospital and Haliburton Place will get underway soon. The work will be done in phases over a period of eight to 10 weeks.

During this paving project, there will be reduced on-site parking at our facility. We ask that the public help by limiting use of the parking lot when possible. Please consider carpooling or being dropped off and picked up, if that is an option.

The impact to parking starts May 27 and the first phase of this project is expected to last until about June 12.

Patient and public parking will be in the back of the building, with the emergency department and staff entrances to serve as the entrance and exit for the general public. The front parking lot and main hospital entrance will be closed during this time period.

Limited on-site parking will be prioritized to the most urgent patient needs.

Please allow extra time to park, register and arrive for your appointment.

Thank you for your patience as we work to improve access to our facilities.
