For all those thrifty shoppers out there, The Daisy, operated by South Shore Regional Hospital Auxiliary, sells gently-used clothing, jewelry, books and small household items, such as dishes and lamps, at great prices. Proceeds from The Daisy, which totalled $315,000 in 2017 alone, support the hospital and other health initiatives in the community.

“In addition to improved imaging quality, our new state-of-the-art digital X-ray machine will allow us to perform more procedures in a shorter amount of time, which reduces radiation exposure and improves efficiency. A digital system is easier to operate, and, with ceiling suspended design, is easier to maneuver and better ergonomically for our staff,” said Terry Sansford, manager of diagnostic imaging.
