Tatamagouche ED Temporarily Closed Overnight - Aug and Sept

Nova Scotia Health Authority wishes to remind the public that the Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital Collaborative Emergency Centre in Tatamagouche has changed its emergency department hours for the months of August and September.
The Collaborative Emergency Centre will continue to remain open Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays, from 8 am to 8 pm. It will be closed overnight during August and September.
These overnight closures are due to a lack of nursing coverage.
Patients are reminded to arrive for registration one hour before the department is scheduled to close. Monday through Friday you must arrive by 3 pm and on weekends by 7 pm.
EHS will continue to respond to 911. Those experiencing a medical emergency should always call 911. For non-emergency health advice from a registered nurse, please call 811. The provincial Mental Health Crisis Line also operates 24/7 at 1-888-429-8167.
Anyone who is unclear about the availability of services may also contact the hospital at 902-657-2382.
