A volunteer story - Peggy

Peggy Flynn - NSHA Volunteer

Meet Peggy, just one of our 7000 + volunteers at the Nova Scotia Health Authority who love what they do.

Our volunteers say they get much more out of their experience with the Nova Scotia Health Authority than they put into it.

Come and join Peggy at one of our more than forty locations across the province.

Spend a few hours a week, or several days a month.

The opportunities are as diverse as our volunteers. Your skills, interests and talents will be put to good use. If you are a people person, an opportunity to work with patients or the public may interest you. If you prefer the quiet environment of a clerical role, we have those opportunities too. Teens as young as 16 can spend time in our facilities and learn about the hundreds of opportunities in health care than go far beyond the traditional roles of doctors and nurses.

Joining Peggy will give you the rich opportunity to make a significant positive impact on the lives of the people we serve.
