Typical family medicine practice including office based visits (all age groups although large geriatric population), inpatient coverage at Soldier’s Memorial Hospital (1 week in 6 approximately with home call), and minor procedures. Office will be located in a recently renovated, state of the art family practice building set up to be run as a collaborative practice in the near future (possibly by the time of locum start). Nightingale is the EMR used and physicians do their own billing through this (quite easy to learn and good skill to have) for office visits and reception staff doing inpatient billing. We have one full time receptionists and 1 part time receptionist. I am currently on an APP contract and there is a good possibility for a locum physician to continue with a similar short term contract for the locum period.
