Veterans Services - Long Term Care
Veterans Services at Camp Hill Veterans Memorial Building has been providing care and services to the Veterans who live here since 1917.
How we can help
We offer programs that are designed to encourage residents of Camp Hill Veterans Services to be as independent as possible and to enjoy an optimal quality of life. There are many opportunities for residents to participate in activities for socializing and staying active such as, music, gardening, baking, playing cards, celebrations, shopping trips, Legion visitations and so on.

How do I make arrangements for a veteran to live at Camp Hill?
Veterans Affairs Canada looks after determining eligibility and managing the wait list for those veterans who are able to come to live at Camp Hill. In order to make arrangements, the Veteran or their family member can call their counselor directly or call Veterans Affairs Canada at: 1-866-522-2122.
Prior to admission, Veterans/families are encouraged to make arrangements to have a tour of the facility.
What will happen on my first day at Camp Hill?
If possible, please arrive by 11 a.m. The staff will show you your room and get some information from you or your family member(s) as well as have you sign consent forms. You will be able to unpack your things and set up your room.
Staff will meet you and your family member(s) and begin their assessments. It may take up to 2 weeks for all of the different team members to meet and talk with you to learn more about you. This will help you and staff plan your care together.
