On May 25, Nova Scotia Health Authority (NSHA) began the gradual process of reintroducing programs and services following unprecedented changes that had been made to the health system in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Nova Scotia Health Authority is expanded a clinic at the Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Middleton to provide appointments three days a week – on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays - for people who do not have a family doctor or nurse practitioner in the Middleton area, beginning on June 11, 2020.
CO-VIC, the COVID-19 treatment and immunity study, will evaluate effectiveness of treatments for hospitalized patients suffering moderate to severe COVID-19 symptoms, while helping researchers discover more about immunity to the virus.
