COVID-19 Nova Scotia Health Outreach Vaccine Clinics offering drop-ins in Northern Zone this week

The Nova Scotia Health Outreach Vaccine Clinics will be back in the Northern Zone this week to offer drop-ins to help support vaccine accessibility for residents.

The outreach vaccine clinics will be providing the Pfizer vaccine to residents and nearby community members (ages 12+) for their first or second dose* at the following locations, at the following times:

  • Hants North Rural High School
    4369 Hwy. 236, Kennetcook
    Wednesday, August 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
    Drop-ins only

     
  • Scotsburn Elementary School
    4100 Scotsburn Road
    Thursday, August 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
    Drop-ins only

*There must be at least 28 days between the first and second dose to be eligible to receive the second dose.

Community members will be asked to provide their health card number and ID at the vaccine clinic.

For those with mobility challenges, special needs, and/or have significant anxiety about needles, please notify clinic team members on site. Having this information in advance helps the clinic team better prepare to offer support. These sites are wheelchair accessible.

All eligible Nova Scotians are encouraged to get vaccinated against COVID-19 as soon as possible.
