COVID-19 testing centre opens in Kentville for two weeks

A new temporary COVID-19 testing centre will be open in Kentville starting Friday, October 22 until Friday, November 5.

Testing is available to anyone, with or without symptoms, at this location:

Nova Scotia Health Covid-19 Testing Centre
Kentville Visitor Information Centre

125 Park Street, Kentville (directions)
Daily from 10:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The drop-in testing centre is open each day from Friday Oct. 22 until Friday Nov. 5.

Drop-ins are accepted or you may book an appointment by visiting https://covid-self-assessment.novascotia.ca/en or call 811.

Important notes when visiting the COVID-19 testing centre:

  • Please bring your health card with you, if you have one.
  • You will be required to wear a mask when entering the testing centre.
  • Unless you have symptoms, you do not need to self-isolate while you wait for your results, unless directly advised by Public Health to isolate.
  • The testing method is standard PCR swab or Swish and Gargle for children and youth. Preparation is required for gargle testing. View instructions. View instructions online.
