Today Nova Scotia Health officially launched an Innovation Hub, a first of its kind centre of excellence for health research and innovation in Atlantic Canada.
The Environmental Services Laboratory at the QEII Health Sciences Centre will resume accepting water samples for testing from municipal, registered, and private water supply owners, starting Wednesday, Feb. 23.

All Saints Springhill Hospital Collaborative Emergency Centre is temporarily changing its hours of services until Sunday, Feb. 27. No evening or weekend service will be available during this time. The CEC will offer services most weekdays, Monday to Friday. The reduced hours are because of nursing staff and physician unavailability. The CEC will reopen for regular hours, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 28.
Beginning on Wednesday, Feb. 16, All Saints Springhill Hospital Collaborative Emergency Centre will offer services weekdays from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. No evening or weekend service will be offered. These changes will remain in effect until Feb. 27. The CEC will reopen for regular hours on Monday, Feb. 28.
