New roof for Glace Bay Hospital
GLACE BAY, N.S. – Glace Bay Hospital is getting a new roof.
Work will begin this week to replace the hospital’s original roof, which is more than 34 years old. Work is expected to wrap up by early spring.
While the work is underway, people will still be able to access the building, however they are asked to use caution as they enter and leave the hospital or its grounds.
People are also reminded to follow COVID-19 measures including visitor restrictions, social distancing, wearing a non-medical mask and good hand hygiene.
Nova Scotia Health appreciates your patience and cooperation while this work is underway.
