This 2 part concussion education session is a group information session for persons who have sustained a concussion within the past 6 months. The session is for people who want to learn more about what to expect following a concussion.

Please note:  In person concussion education sessions are currently suspended due to COVID-19.  We do continue to offer the sessions virtually using Zoom for Health Care.

How do I access the Concussion Education Session?

To attend the program you must be:
  • Diagnosed with a concussion within the past 6 months
  • 16 years of age and older

Please note: family members and loved ones are welcome to attend.

What will happen at the Concussion Education Session? 

A health care professional working in Acquired Brain Injury Services will provide information about what to expect following a concussion. Information reviewed will include common symptoms, typical recovery process, strategies to help manage symptoms, prevention strategies, and resources.
