After Hours Clinics
Primary Health Care

The following clinics now accept patients through booked appointments only. No walk-in patients are accepted.

The clinics will work to provide telephone consultations with patients when appropriate. A decision on if a face-to-face visit is required will be made when the appointment is being booked over the telephone.

Patients can also expect to be screened over the telephone using current COVID-19 screening criteria. Depending on the outcome of this screening, the patient may be directed to call 811.

Patients must book appointments by calling the clinic.

*While operated by physicians, some clinics are located within NSH facilities at South Shore Regional Hospital, Eastern Kings Memorial Health Centre and Western Kings Memorial Health Centre.

Nova Scotians who have added their names to the Need a Family Practice Registry can also access care at Primary Care Clinic. See the Primary Care Clinics page for more information and locations.
