The Hip and Knee Arthritis Pre-habilitation program helps you get mentally and physically ready for joint replacement surgery, so that you can have the best possible results from your surgery and go home safely soon after your surgery. Some patients may return home the day of your surgery and most will stay in hospital for two days or less.
The multi-week education and exercise program focusses on giving you the information and tools you need to better manage your health before and after surgery.
The multidisciplinary team helps you take the lead to having less pain and a better quality of life.
The Orthopedic Assessment Clinic and Pre-Hab team in your area can provide you with information about the services that are available to support you.
