Primary Health Care
Virtual Care uses audio/video technology to connect patients with health care providers, closer to home.
To support web-based patient care, Zoom for Healthcare has been approved in Nova Scotia as a virtual care platform for use for health care providers (physicians, nurse practitioners and allied health professionals).
Individuals should contact their health care providers directly to find out if they are offering virtual appointments using Zoom for Healthcare. For individuals who have been offered a virtual appointment, they will receive instructions and be directed to the following resources. Please review in advance to prepare for the appointment and ensure a secure online experience.
