The patient engagement app is an online tool that connects you with your cancer care team. It can be used on your computer or through an application (app) on your cell phone or tablet. The tool is one way patients can get important cancer care information.
The app is also able to connect with the new electronic cancer patient record system called ARIA.
With the app you can:
- View your appointment schedule and set up reminders.
- Keep track of how you are feeling by noting this in the diary section and sharing this with your care team during appointments.
- Take part in surveys to provide your care team with information about treatment side effects.
- View / read patient education materials and videos.
How do I register for the patient engagement app?
- Your clinic must send you an invitation to use the app. If you have not yet received an invitation, ask your cancer care team about the app at your next appointment.
- Once invited, you will receive an email and/or text message from noreply@noona.com. Open the message and follow the instructions to activate your account.
- You can download the app on a compatible device (Apple iOS 16-18 or Android 13-15).
- Please make sure your device is up to date as the app will only work with compatible operating systems.
- If you do not have a compatible device, or if you prefer to use the tool on a computer, sign in to the web version of the tool.
What if I have technical problems using the app?
You can call the Cancer Care Program toll free at 1-866-599-2267 for technical support. Please leave a message and someone from the team will return your call.
If I don’t use a computer, a cell phone or a tablet, how will I receive information and connect with my care team?
Patients who do not have a computer, a cell phone or a tablet will still receive the information they need and be able to connect with their care team. You can have a family member or a friend register for the app for you. You can also receive paper copies of your appointment schedule and patient education materials.
Can I still call the patient line and talk with my care team that way?
Yes, the patient line will continue to be available.
