Emergency Department
Virtual urgent care is available in the emergency department at Glace Bay Hospital on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Construction on the new Yarmouth Regional Hospital Emergency Department is underway. This means some changes to parking and access around the site. Please plan for extra time when coming for an appointment. Learn more here.

Some patient telephone lines at Valley Regional Hospital are not working. Families may wish to provide a cell/mobile phone for their patient in the hospital. We are working on an alternative for family members. More information will be shared when available.
Emergency Department
Soldiers Memorial Hospital emergency department is OPEN each Saturday in January from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Virtual Urgent Care is open Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Sundays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., even when the emergency department is closed.
