Public Health Immunization Clinics

Public Health holds vaccination clinics across the province. More clinics will be added to this page as they are scheduled. All vaccines offered by Public Health are free to those who are eligible. 

Routine vaccines are also offered for free by family doctors, nurse practitioners, pharmacists and community pharmacy primary care clinics.

Learn About Our Clinics

Public Health Mobile Unit Clinics

Public Health Mobile Unit clinics are offered in communities across Nova Scotia. More will be added to this page as they are booked. Public Health Nurses at the clinics can review your vaccine history and help you decide what you may need. 

The following vaccines are currently being offered at all clinics for free for those who are eligible:

  • Pneumococcal (65+)
  • Shingles (65+)
  • Adult RSV (75+)
  • Varicella (Chickenpox) 
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) 
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (MMRV) 
  • Tetanus, Diphtheria (Td) 
  • Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis (Whooping Cough) (Tdap) 

Clinics also offer free naloxone kits, STI Care Now test kits, and support for navigating the health system, community and social services. Language interpretation is available for all services.  

You can drop in for any of the services offered at this clinic. You can also book appointments for pneumococcal and shingles vaccines by calling 811 or booking online.

  • Bring your health card if you have one. 
  • Check this page for updates, as clinics may be cancelled or rescheduled.
  • Masks are available. If you have symptoms of illness, please wear one inside the clinic.

Routine Vaccine Clinics and Appointments for All Ages

Offering all routine immunizations to people who do not have or cannot easily access a family doctor or nurse practitioner, including those who need vaccines due to high-risk conditions. When you call to book, please indicate which vaccine(s) will be needed. 

Grade 12 Catch-Up Clinics

Offering vaccines for people who have just graduated from Grade 12 and want to get caught up on their school immunizations and get the Meningitis B vaccine, if eligible.

You can catch up for free until you turn 19 for most vaccines, and until you turn 21 for the HPV vaccine.
