Emergency Department

The Glace Bay Hospital emergency department will close at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 13 and reopen at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, July 14. 

Virtual urgent care is available onsite from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday. 

The Guysborough Memorial Hospital emergency department will be closed from 7 a.m. on Sunday, July 12 until 8 a.m. on Monday, July 13. 

Virtual urgent care will be available onsite daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Hours are subject to change. 

Digby General Hospital emergency department is closed at 4 p.m. Thursday, July 9 and re-opens Friday, July 10 at 8 a.m.

Virtual urgent care is available onsite daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., even when the emergency department is closed.

Roseway Hospital emergency department is temporarily closed and will reopen on Thursday, July 9 at 8 p.m.

Virtual urgent care is available onsite daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., even when the emergency department is closed.

Fishermen's Memorial Hospital emergency department is open 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. (noon) on Thurs. July 9, Fri. July 10, Sat. July 11 and Sun. July 12.

Virtual urgent care is available onsite daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., even when the emergency department is closed.

The emergency department at Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston is temporarily closed and will reopen on Monday, July 13 at 8 a.m.

Virtual urgent care is available onsite from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 9 and Friday, July 10. Hours are subject to change. 

The Eastern Memorial Hospital emergency department is temporarily closed and will reopen on Monday, July 20 at 12 p.m. (noon).

Virtual urgent care is available onsite Monday and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 6:45 p.m.; Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; Thursday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. Hours subject to change. 

The All Saints Springhill Hospital Collaborative Emergency Centre (CEC) is temporarily closed. 

Virtual urgent care will be available onsite daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. even when the CEC is closed.
