Buchanan Memorial Community Health Centre

Buchanan Memorial Community Health Centre is a short-term care facility located in Neil’s Harbour. It serves the communities of Neil’s Harbor, Dingwall, Bay St Lawrence, Meat Cove, Ingonish and surrounding areas.

Visiting Hours

Please note: There are currently visitor restrictions in place due to COVID-19. Please visit  http://www.nshealth.ca/coronavirus-home/nova-scotia-health-visitor-rest… for up-to-date information.

Visitors are welcome daily between the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. according to patient preference and care needs.

*Learn more about NSHA's Family Presence Policy, which welcomes up to two people named by the patient to be their family or primary support person/people.

WiFi and Internet Access

There is free public Wifi. To request access, send an email to wifi@cbdha.nshealth.ca requesting connection information. There will be an automated reply with the information required.

The emergency department is located at the front of the hospital and is open 24 hours a day.
