Black Health and Wellness Immunization Clinic in Halifax

The Public Health Mobile Unit will be offering a Black Health and Wellness Immunization Clinic during the 2026 Association of Nigerians in Nova Scotia Summer Barbeque in Africville Park. The clinic is offered in partnership with the Advisory Committee for Black Public Health.

Black Health and Wellness Immunization Clinics give Black and African Nova Scotians a place to ask questions and receive vaccinations in a setting that feels familiar and respectful. While these are culturally competent clinics for Black and African Nova Scotians, all are welcome!

Free vaccines include:

• Pneumococcal (65+)
• Shingles (65+)
• Varicella (Chickenpox) 
• Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) 
• Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (MMRV) 
• Tetanus, Diphtheria (Td) 
• Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis (Whooping Cough) (Tdap) 
• COVID-19 (Primary series only)
• Adult RSV (75+)

Free naloxone kits and COVID-19 rapid tests are also available.

Information for clinic visitors:

• Bring your health card if you have one.

• Masks are available. If you have symptoms of illness, you must wear one inside the clinic.
