Upcoming Black Health and Wellness Immunization Clinic in Halifax

Culturally specific Black Health and Wellness Immunization Clinics enable Black and African Nova Scotians to ask questions and receive vaccinations in a place that feels familiar and respectful. Although these clinics are culturally specific, all are welcome to attend.

Next week, the following Black Health and Wellness Immunization Clinic will be held:

Keshen Goodman Public Library
330 Lacewood Dr., Halifax
Monday, Dec. 8 from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

The clinic offer the following free services for Black and African Nova Scotians:

  • COVID-19 & Influenza Vaccines (6 months +)
  • Shingles & Pneumococcal Vaccines (65+)
  • Adult RSV Vaccine (75+)
  • COVID-19 & Influenza Tests
  • Healthcare Navigation

Interpretation services will be available. 

Drop in or book an appointment:

You can drop in or book appointments for COVID-19, Influenza and RSV vaccines and COVID-19 and influenza tests. Pneumococcal and Shingles vaccines are drop-in only.

Please note:

  • Vaccines are offered to people aged 6 months and older who are eligible.
  • Vaccines and testing are free and available to all who meet eligibility requirements.
  • Please bring your health card if you have one.
  • Clinics may be cancelled due to inclement weather.
  • Public Health Mobile Unit clinics have masks available. If you have symptoms, you are required to put on a mask when entering the clinic and for your appointment/visit.
