Emergency Department

All Saint Springhill Hospital’s Collaborative Emergency Centre is temporarily closed.  A virtual urgent care service will be available onsite most days.  Please check the schedule here.

Specimen Drop Off

Specimen sample drops-offs are temporarily not available at Western Kings Memorial Health Centre (WKM) People who usually drop off a specimen sample for testing (e.g. urine, stool, etc.) at WKM can now do so at another location offering this service. Specimen drop off locations and times are online: Specimen Testing | Nova Scotia Health (nshealth.ca)

Blood Collection Clinic

Blood collection at Western Kings Memorial Health Centre in Berwick (WKM) is temporarily not available. People who usually have blood collected at WKM can now do so at another location offering this service. The emergency department at Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital in Musquodoboit Harbour will be closed:

  • Friday, Feb, 9 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Monday, Feb. 12 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Emergency Department

The emergency department at Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston will be closed from 7 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 23 until 8 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 26.

Eastern Kings Memorial Health Centre (EKM) Same Day / After Hours Clinic is closed the following days:

Western Kings Memorial Health Centre (WKM) Same Day / After Hours clinic is closed Monday, February 19 and Friday, February 23.

Emergency Department

North Cumberland Memorial Hospital's Collaborative Emergency Centre in Pugwash is closed Saturday, Feb. 17 and Sunday, Feb. 18. A virtual urgent care service will be available onsite from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Anyone requiring urgent care, can walk-in between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. for a virtual appointment.
