Emergency Department
The All Saints Springhill Hospital Collaborative Emergency Centre (CEC) is temporarily closed.
Virtual urgent care will be available onsite daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. even when the CEC is closed.

The emergency department at Strait Richmond Hospital is temporarily closed and will reopen on Monday, June 1 at 8 a.m.
Virtual urgent care is available onsite from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, Wednesday, May 27, Thursday, May 28 and Friday, May 29.
Emergency Department
Eastern Memorial Hospital emergency department is temporarily closed and will reopen on Friday, June 5 at 12 p.m.
Virtual urgent care is available onsite Monday and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 6:45 p.m.; Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; Thursday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. (Note: Virtual urgent care will close at 12 p.m. on May 21.)
After Hours Clinics
Eastern Kings Memorial (EKM) Health Centre After Hours Clinic is closed on Wednesday, May 27 (evening) and Thursday, May 28 (evening).

North Cumberland Health Care Centre's Collaborative Emergency Centre (CEC) in Pugwash is closed Tuesday, May 26 and Wednesday, May 27.
Virtual urgent care will be available onsite daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. even when the CEC is closed.

Digby General Hospital emergency department is temporarily closed and will reopen on Thursday, May 28 at 8 a.m.

The emergency department at Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital in Lunenburg is open from 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. (closing at noon) Thursday, May 28 and Saturday, May 30. The emergency department will re-open each following morning at 7:30 a.m.

All Clinics, Programs and Services
Construction on the new Yarmouth Regional Hospital Emergency Department means some parking in the front, north parking lot (near the School of Nursing) will be temporarily closed. Please plan for extra time when coming for an appointment. Learn more here.

A new weapons detection safety system will be used at the entrance to Valley Regional Hospital (VRH) emergency department starting Saturday, May 9. Have belongings ready to be checked when coming to emergency dept. Prohibited items and possible weapons are not allowed.
Blood Collection
Some services will be operating at a reduced capacity over the coming weeks as teams adapt to a new health information system. Appointment bookings in the Central Zone may be impacted during the months of May and June.
