North Cumberland Memorial Hospital is located in Pugwash, Nova Scotia. It provides a variety of health services, including urgent care, to the communities of Pugwash, Wallace, Malagash, Port Howe and the surrounding areas.
North Cumberland Memorial Hospital's Collaborative Emergency Centre in Pugwash is closed Monday, April 29. A virtual urgent care service will be available onsite from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

This facility is a Collaborative Emergency Centre (CEC). We are open based on physician availability. Please call 902-243-2521 for more information. During overnight hours, we are staffed by a paramedic and a registered nurse who may consult with a virtual physician.
Virtual urgent care service will be available onsite Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and on weekdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. when the CEC is closed.
To access virtual urgent care, anyone with mild or moderate health concerns can walk-in to book an appointment. A Nova Scotia Health team member will support you by providing the technology and a quiet space for your virtual appointment with a health care provider.
