Black Health and Wellness Immunization Clinic in Central Zone

The Public Health Mobile Unit will be offering a Black Health and Wellness Immunization Clinic during the African United Baptist Association Annual Conference in Beechville. The clinic is offered in partnership with the Advisory Committee for Black Public Health and is open to the public.

Black Health and Wellness Immunization Clinics give Black and African Nova Scotians a place to ask questions and receive vaccinations in a setting that feels familiar and respectful. While these are culturally competent clinics for Black and African Nova Scotians, all are welcome!

Shingles (65+)
Varicella (Chickenpox)
Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR)
Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (MMRV)
Tetanus, Diphtheria (Td)
Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis (Whooping Cough) (Tdap)
COVID-19 (Primary series only)
Adult RSV (75+)

Free naloxone kits, COVID-19 and influenza tests and healthcare navigation services are also available.

Eligibility information

Information for clinic visitors:

Bring your health card if you have one.
Check www.nshealth.ca/PHMU for updates, as clinics may be cancelled or rescheduled.
Masks are available. If you have symptoms of illness, you must wear one inside the clinic.
