All Saints Springhill Hospital's Collaborative Emergency Centre (CEC) is temporarily closed. Virtual urgent care will be available onsite daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. even when the CEC is closed.

Eastern Memorial Hospital emergency department is closed until Friday, Dec. 12 at 12 p.m. 

Virtual urgent care: Mon. & Tues., 8 am-6:45 pm; Wed., 8 am-2:30 pm; Thurs.-Sun., 8 am-6:45 pm. 

Urgent treatment clinic: Sat., Dec. 6 and Sun., Dec. 7, 9 am-5 pm. Call 902-366-3268 for same-day appt.

Fishermen's Memorial Hospital emergency department is open 7:30 a.m. to 12 noon Friday Dec. 5, and re-opens at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday. 

Virtual urgent care is available every day, 7 days a week, from 8am-7pm, even when the emergency department is temporarily closed.

Roseway Hospital emergency department is closed at 3 p.m. Friday, December 5 and re-opens Saturday evening, December 6 at 8 p.m.

Virtual urgent care is available every day, 7 days a week, from 8am-7pm, even when the emergency department is temporarily closed.

Strait Richmond Hospital emergency department will be closed on Friday, Dec. 5 at 7 a.m. and reopen on Monday, Dec. 8 at 8 a.m.

Digby General Hospital emergency department is closed at 4 p.m. Sunday, December 7, and is closed Monday. It re-opens Tuesday, December 9 at 8 a.m. 

Virtual urgent care is available every day, 7 days a week, from 8am-7pm, even when the emergency department is temporarily closed.

Urgent Treatment Centres

The Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital Urgent Treatment Centre in Tatamagouche is closed Friday, Dec. 5 to Tuesday, Dec. 9. Virtual urgent care appointments may be available onsite even when the urgent treatment centre is closed. For more information call 902-657-2385 during hours of operation.

Emergency Department

Virtual urgent care is available at Glace Bay Hospital on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. in the emergency department. Virtual urgent care is provided by onsite Nova Scotia Health staff and online care providers, like doctors, to treat patients with urgent, but non-life-threatening health matters, like coughs, colds, sprains, etc.

Construction on the new Yarmouth Regional Hospital Emergency Department is underway. This means some changes to parking and access around the site. Please plan for extra time when coming for an appointment. Learn more here.
