The All Saints Springhill Hospital Collaborative Emergency Centre (CEC) is temporarily closed. 

Virtual urgent care will be available onsite daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. even when the CEC is closed.

The emergency department at Strait Richmond Hospital is temporarily closed and will reopen on Tuesday, May 26 at 8 a.m.

Virtual urgent care is available onsite from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Friday. Hours subject to change.

Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital emergency department is open from 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. (noon) from Thursday, May 14 to Sunday, May 17. 

Virtual Urgent Care is open 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily even when the emergency department is closed.

Roseway Hospital emergency department is temporarily closed and will reopen on Saturday, May 16 at 8 a.m.

Eastern Memorial Hospital emergency department will be temporarily closed from 10 a.m. on Monday, May 18 until 12 p.m. on Friday, June 5. 

Virtual urgent care is available onsite Monday and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 6:45 p.m.; Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; Thursday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6:45 p.m.

Digby General Hospital emergency department is temporarily closed from 4 p.m. Saturday, May 16 until Sunday, May 17 at 8 a.m. 

Virtual Urgent Care is open 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily even when the emergency department is closed.

Soldiers Memorial Hospital emergency department is closed early, at 12 noon, Saturday, May 16 and re-opens Monday, May 18 at 7:30 a.m.

Virtual Urgent Care is open Mon-Sat. from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sundays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., even when the emergency department is closed.

Construction on the new Yarmouth Regional Hospital Emergency Department means some parking in the front, north parking lot (near the School of Nursing) will be temporarily closed. Please plan for extra time when coming for an appointment. Learn more here.

A new weapons detection safety system will be used at the entrance to Valley Regional Hospital (VRH) emergency department starting Saturday, May 9. Have belongings ready to be checked when coming to emergency dept. Prohibited items and possible weapons are not allowed.

Blood Collection

Some services will be operating at a reduced capacity over the coming weeks as teams adapt to a new health information system. Appointment bookings in the Central Zone may be impacted during the months of May and June.
