Traffic Impacts on Robie Street Near Halifax Infirmary – April 25, 2026
 
Nova Scotia Health is advising crane operations will continue on Robie Street, on Saturday, April 25, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. All southbound lanes on Robie Street will be closed between Quinpool Road and Jubilee Road.


Patients and visitors are advised to use alternate routes during this time. Sidewalks and pedestrian access will remain open. The emergency department will remain open and fully accessible throughout the work.

Championing collaborative healthcare: The impact of Yuehan ‘Hannah’ Zhou

Today, we introduce a passionate practice facilitator in the Central Zone, Yuehan Zhou. She has been with Nova Scotia Health since 2021. Zhou previously worked in Ontario and has a degree in Healthcare Management, bringing a lot of valuable experience to her job.

In her role, Zhou partners with healthcare teams to help improve how they operate and provide care. She describes practice facilitation as a teamwork effort where she helps clinics make positive changes for better quality and performance. Zhou acts like a coach, offering guidance and resources tailored to what each team needs most.

Zhou loves the part of her job where she supports healthcare providers and teams to enhance the way they care for patients. She appreciates how everyone in primary healthcare brings their unique skills and backgrounds, creating a vibrant team atmosphere. "Our team rocks!" she says, showing her affection for the supportive community around her.

She is also passionate about helping people in Nova Scotia understand that primary healthcare is the first step in the healthcare system, focusing on community-based care. You can see her commitment to improving healthcare in everything she does.

When she's not working, Zhou enjoys being active with sports like yoga and walking, which keeps her fit. She also values meditating and taking time to reflect, which she believes is crucial for finding calm in her life. Plus, she has a lovable orange tabby cat named Dorito who brings joy to her days.

Through her work and hobbies, Zhou shows a deep commitment to care, kindness and a well-rounded approach to both healthcare and her personal life.
