Mobile primary care clinic in Sydney

The mobile primary care clinic in Sydney has this upcoming clinic date:

Cape Breton Regional Hospital

1482 George Street, Sydney

Sunday, February 8 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This is not a drop-in clinic. To schedule an appointment, please call 902-574-3275. Phone lines will be open at 7:30 a.m. for same-day appointment booking. The number of appointments is limited.

This is a temporary service to provide an appropriate primary care setting for people with mild or moderate health concerns. This clinic operates on a first come, first served basis.

The mobile primary care clinics are drop-in clinics and can treat non-urgent health concerns, for example: prescription refills or renewals (except for controlled substances like opioids), minor respiratory symptoms, urinary tract infections, vomiting, fever, and ear pain. They do not offer lab or diagnostic imaging requisitions.

Please have your health card and a list of your medications ready when you arrive. Care will be provided using a team approach, which includes nurse practitioners and family physicians. (If you have a primary care provider, we encourage you to call their office first to see if they have any same-day appointments available.)

Upon arrival at the clinic, you will be asked the reason for your visit to ensure your concerns can be treated.
