Planned water shutdown at Cobequid Community Health Centre’s emergency department

Due to the need for water system repairs at Cobequid Community Health Centre, there will be a planned, temporary water shutdown, beginning the evening of Tuesday, Sept. 29. 

To ensure all repairs can be completed, the emergency department is expected to delay opening until 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 30.

If you have a non-life-threatening issue the evening of Sept. 29, please try to arrive early, or visit a different emergency department, as there will be no water in the building.

While the department is closed, please call 911 for life-threatening emergencies.
