Traffic Impacts on Robie Street Near Halifax Infirmary – April 25, 2026
 
Nova Scotia Health is advising crane operations will continue on Robie Street, on Saturday, April 25, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. All southbound lanes on Robie Street will be closed between Quinpool Road and Jubilee Road.


Patients and visitors are advised to use alternate routes during this time. Sidewalks and pedestrian access will remain open. The emergency department will remain open and fully accessible throughout the work.

Public Health Clinic cancelled in Port Hawkesbury, new clinic offered in Sydney

Local residents are advised that the following Public Health Mobile Unit clinic has been cancelled due to inclement weather:

 

Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre
606 Reeves St., Port Hawkesbury
Monday, January 6, 2025 from 11:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. 

 

In its place, Public Health Mobile Unit is offering the following clinic in Sydney:

 

Mayflower Mall
800 Grand Lake Rd., Sydney
Monday, January 6, 2025 from noon - 6:30 p.m.
Offering COVID-19 and influenza vaccines and tests, and pneumococcal vaccines.
Drop-in only

 

Public Health Mobile Unit supports access to immunization and testing across the province. More clinics are scheduled in the coming weeks. They can be found online at www.nshealth.ca/PHMU.
