Traffic Impacts on Robie Street Near Halifax Infirmary – April 25, 2026
 
Nova Scotia Health is advising crane operations will continue on Robie Street, on Saturday, April 25, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. All southbound lanes on Robie Street will be closed between Quinpool Road and Jubilee Road.


Patients and visitors are advised to use alternate routes during this time. Sidewalks and pedestrian access will remain open. The emergency department will remain open and fully accessible throughout the work.

Public Health supporting infant RSV and all-ages influenza immunization in Amherst

Northern Zone Public Health is holding an immunization clinic in Amherst for individuals who do not have access to a family doctor, nurse practitioner, or family practice nurse.

Immunizations offered will include:

  • Infant RSV for infants under 8 months old and babies/toddlers under 24 months at higher risk of severe illness from RSV
  • Influenza for anyone aged 6 months and older

Appointments are required. Please call 902-667-3319 to book. Clinics fill quickly; early booking is recommended. If transportation assistance is needed, please advise when scheduling your appointment.
