Pacemaker Device Lab

The Pacemaker/Device clinic is an outpatient clinic for patients with implanted Cardiac defibrillators, (ICD’s), Pacemakers, and implanted Loop recorders. All devices are assessed for battery longevity, lead wire function, data collection information and heart rhythm recordings (for those devices with this feature).

The pacemaker/device clinic will address any device related concerns such as suspected infections. As this is an outpatient clinic any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, such as feeling very unwell after a blackout spell or have worrisome symptoms like chest pain or shortness of breath call 911 or have someone take you to emergency department.
