C3 showcases innovation in patient care at Government Innovation Showcase Atlantic
Innovation was front and centre as the Care Coordination Centre (C3) stepped into the spotlight at the Government Innovation Showcase Atlantic, hosted by the Public Sector Network.
The event brought together changemakers from across Atlantic Canada to explore bold new ideas and transformative solutions aimed at improving public services and community outcomes.
C3 was proud to share how its cutting-edge technology is making a positive difference to patient care.
C3 gives healthcare teams a real-time, system-wide view of each patient’s journey and helps ensure care is delivered where and when it’s needed most. From tracking patient flow to identifying busy times of the year like flu season, C3 empowers frontline teams to make faster, more informed decisions.
Senior director Andrea Muenster represented C3 on a panel focused on balancing innovation with data governance and privacy.
“C3 technology is giving us a better view of patient care within our healthcare system,” said Andrea. “It’s helping providers make quicker, more informed decisions by giving them access to the right data at the right time.”
Patient privacy isn’t an afterthought, it’s built into how C3 is used. The platform is designed with security at its core and is only accessible to verified healthcare professionals. By protecting privacy when enabling secure access, C3 helps healthcare providers use data in the most appropriate and effective way to support patient care.
Andrea emphasized data is more than just numbers — it’s a powerful tool for improving patient outcomes.
“Data has become a valuable guide for patient-focused care,” she said. “Unlocking its full potential requires collaboration across healthcare and public sector teams, and a commitment to privacy and policy.”
At C3, innovation isn’t just about technology, it’s about the people behind it.
By applying best practices and focusing on usability, the team uses digital tools that are not only accessible but also truly transformative. Through identifying trends and fostering smarter, more collaborative ways of working, C3 is helping healthcare teams deliver more effective, patient-centered care.
“At the end of the day, we’re all members of the community,” said Andrea. “We rely on the health system to be there when we need it — and to protect our privacy while doing so.”
C3 is connecting care to change lives.
