Traffic Impacts on Robie Street Near Halifax Infirmary – April 25, 2026
 
Nova Scotia Health is advising crane operations will continue on Robie Street, on Saturday, April 25, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. All southbound lanes on Robie Street will be closed between Quinpool Road and Jubilee Road.


Patients and visitors are advised to use alternate routes during this time. Sidewalks and pedestrian access will remain open. The emergency department will remain open and fully accessible throughout the work.

Central Zone Public Health enhances summer access to publicly funded vaccines

Central Zone Public Health is making it easier to stay up to date on your vaccines. This summer, they are offering enhanced access to publicly funded (free) vaccines for anyone who is eligible. All routine vaccines will be available, as well as vaccines for people at higher risk for severe illness due to health conditions, age, living arrangements or other factors. 

All are welcome, however people who do not have a primary care provider will be given priority.

  • When booking, please mention which vaccine(s) you need and if you will need help getting to your appointment.

  • All appointments will be held at the Central Zone Public Health Office at 7 Mellor Ave., Unit 5, Dartmouth (Google Maps).

  • Please bring your health card with you to your appointment, if you have one.
