Crane lift part of scheduled maintenance taking place at Victoria County Memorial Hospital

An overhead crane lift will take place on Friday at Victoria County Memorial Hospital in Baddeck. The lift is part of scheduled maintenance work that is being done at the back corner of the hospital and in the parking lot of the hospital's annex.

To prepare for the lift, the crane will be positioned in the annex parking lot. It will begin the lift after 8 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 21 and will remain onsite until approximately 12 p.m.

While the lift is underway, people will still be able to access the hospital's main entrance and parking lot and the upper parking lot off Macdermid Street.

Please follow any signage or traffic directions that are in place during the lift. Also, please use caution in areas outside the hospital or when entering and exiting the building and do not enter areas where work is underway.

Nova Scotia Health appreciates your patience and cooperation while this work is underway.
