Traffic Impacts on Robie Street Near Halifax Infirmary – April 25, 2026
 
Nova Scotia Health is advising crane operations will continue on Robie Street, on Saturday, April 25, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. All southbound lanes on Robie Street will be closed between Quinpool Road and Jubilee Road.


Patients and visitors are advised to use alternate routes during this time. Sidewalks and pedestrian access will remain open. The emergency department will remain open and fully accessible throughout the work.

Digby Community Connection: Two public drop-in sessions, Wednesday, February 21

Nova Scotia Health and the Digby Family Practice want to connect with the community at one of two public drop-in sessions. 

The goal of these community connection sessions is to share information on programs and services in an interactive and engaging way. This will also be an opportunity to learn how to access the different care options available, visit interactive booths, pick up information and chat with members of our teams. 

The event(s) will be scheduled as two, 2-hour drop-in sessions to give the public afternoon and early evening options to visit, from either 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or from 4 to 6 p.m.

 

What:            Digby Community Connection – public drop-in sessions

When:           Wednesday, February 21, 2024

11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 

OR 

4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Where:          Digby Fire Department hall, 165 First Ave., Digby

Light refreshments such as coffee, tea and snacks will be provided, as we are looking forward to some good conversations, information sharing and even some prizes.
