Need a Family Practice Registry Update, May 2025

As of May 1, there are 91,474 Nova Scotians on the Need a Family Practice Registry.

The last update published on April 14, showed there were 93,682 Nova Scotians on the registry as of April 1. In total, 2,208 people were attached to a provider or removed as a result of ongoing validation work that confirmed they have a provider in April 2025.

The percentage of the population on the registry is 8.6%.

Nova Scotia Health will next update the registry in early June.
