Traffic Impacts on Robie Street Near Halifax Infirmary – April 25, 2026

Nova Scotia Health is advising crane operations will continue on Robie Street, on Saturday, April 25, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. All southbound lanes on Robie Street will be closed between Quinpool Road and Jubilee Road.

Patients and visitors are advised to use alternate routes during this time. Sidewalks and pedestrian access will remain open. The emergency department will remain open and fully accessible throughout the work.

North Cumberland Health Care Centre telephone lines currently down

PUGWASH, N.S. – The telephone lines at North Cumberland Health Care Centre (NCHCC) are temporarily out of service. Callers will receive a busy signal.

This interruption is not impacting Virtual Urgent Care which is available onsite daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. for anyone with mild to moderate health concerns. Please note: NCHCC's Collaborative Emergency Centre is closed Tuesday, Jan. 28 however Virtual Urgent Care is available.

The blood collection clinic's telephone line is not impacted. Patients are able to leave voicemails at 1-833-637-1350.

The Primary Health Care Clinic at NCHCC can be reached today at 902-397-0016 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

If there is a need to cancel your appointment with the Physiotherapy outpatient department, please call 902-397-1639.

Nova Scotia Health is working to identify the problem with the telephone system and resolve the issue as soon as possible.
