The Sunshine Room is a calm and welcoming environment for cancer patients in a newly renovated space at the Victoria General site of the QEII Health Sciences Centre

The Sunshine Room includes a lounge area for relaxation and separate rooms for:

  • massage therapy,
  • reiki
  • reflexology
  • wig fittings. 

All services are provided by licensed volunteers and are provided free of change.

How do I prepare for my visit?

No preparation is required. Your visit to the Sunshine Room is time just for you – to relax and enjoy a free service such as a massage, Reiki or reflexology.

What will happen at my appointment?

The Sunshine Room is a drop-in space for relaxation, for conversation, to enjoy a relaxing service or to view and try on the selection of wigs. 

Cancer patients are welcome to drop by for a cup of tea or coffee or to enjoy one of the services provided by licensed volunteers.
