Traffic Impacts on Robie Street Near Halifax Infirmary – April 25, 2026
 
Nova Scotia Health is advising crane operations will continue on Robie Street, on Saturday, April 25, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. All southbound lanes on Robie Street will be closed between Quinpool Road and Jubilee Road.


Patients and visitors are advised to use alternate routes during this time. Sidewalks and pedestrian access will remain open. The emergency department will remain open and fully accessible throughout the work.

Blood collection at Bayers Road Centre closed Saturday

The blood collection service at the Bayers Road Centre (7071 Bayers Rd., Suite 141) will be closed Saturday, March 14 due to water-related issues, which impacted the property Thursday.

Patient appointments will be honoured at other blood collection sites within the Halifax Regional Municipality. Staff from Bayers Road Centre will assist at those locations.

In addition, patients will be contacted by phone to give them the option of rebooking their appointment.

Appointments are required for blood collection services. If you have a referral, you may book an appointment for blood collection at this location anytime online or by calling 1-833-637-1350 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Friday (excluding holidays).
