Traffic Impacts on Robie Street Near Halifax Infirmary – April 25, 2026
 
Nova Scotia Health is advising crane operations will continue on Robie Street, on Saturday, April 25, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. All southbound lanes on Robie Street will be closed between Quinpool Road and Jubilee Road.


Patients and visitors are advised to use alternate routes during this time. Sidewalks and pedestrian access will remain open. The emergency department will remain open and fully accessible throughout the work.

Blood collection returns to Eastern Kings, Western Kings Memorial Health Centres

Blood collection and specimen sample drop-off services will return to Eastern Kings Memorial Community Health Centre in Wolfville (EKM), and Western Kings Memorial Health Centre in Berwick (WKM) the week of Monday, May 6.

Patients are now able to book blood collection appointments online at both locations. Blood collections days and times are:

Eastern Kings Memorial, Wolfville

  • Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

 

Western Kings Memorial, Berwick

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
