Public Health Mobile Unit adds new clinic in Eastern Zone this week

Local residents are advised that a new clinic has been added to this week’s Public Health Mobile Unit schedule in Eastern Zone. Please see the updated list of clinics below and visit www.nshealth.ca/PHMU for more upcoming clinics.
Public Health Mobile Unit clinics will offer the following services for those who are eligible:

COVID-19 vaccines

Pneumococcal vaccines

Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) vaccine

Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (Chickenpox) (MMRV) vaccine

Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis (Tdap) vaccine

Tetanus, Diphtheria (TD) vaccine

Respiratory tests (COVID-19 and influenza)
People are invited to drop in or book appointments for COVID-19 and pneumococcal vaccines and respiratory tests. Other routine vaccines are drop-in only.

Please note:
- Vaccines are offered to people aged 6 months and older who are eligible.
- Vaccines and testing are free and available to all who meet eligibility requirements.
- Please bring your health card if you have one.
- Please dress accordingly as you may have to wait in line outside.
- Clinics may be cancelled due to inclement weather.
- Public Health Mobile Unit clinics have masks available. If you have symptoms, you are required to put on a mask when entering the clinic and for your appointment/visit.
