Emergency Department

The Hants Community Hospital emergency department in Windsor will be closed on Saturday, May 17 from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. Virtual Urgent Care services will be available during this closure.

(Middle Musquodoboit, NS)

Urgent Treatment Centres

The Urgent Treatment Centre at Musquodoboit Valley Memorial Hospital is closed Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18.

However, Virtual Urgent Care is available between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. on both days.

Emergency Department

The emergency department at Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital in Musquodoboit Harbour will be closed from 8 a.m. on Saturday, May 17, until 7 a.m. on Sunday, May 18. Virtual Urgent Care services will be available 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 17.

The entrance to the Emergency Department (ED) has changed to 1840 Bell Road. This new entrance includes a patient drop-off area, parking, including accessible parking options.

Virtual urgent care will be available onsite on Thursday, May 15 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Virtual urgent care is provided by onsite Nova Scotia Health staff and online care providers, like emergency doctors, to treat patients with urgent, but non-life-threatening health matters, like coughs, colds, sprains, etc. Learn more about virtual urgent care
