Emergency Department
All Saint Springhill Hospital’s Collaborative Emergency Centre is temporarily closed. A virtual urgent care service will be available onsite daily. Please check the schedule here.
Blood Collection Clinic
Please be advised that the blood collection clinic at the Halifax Infirmary is now closed.
For blood collection services, you can book an appointment at an alternate location online anytime or by calling 902-473-2074 or toll-free 1-833-942-2298 between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday to Friday (excluding holidays).
Patients must be 12 years and older.

Emergency Department
Eastern Memorial Hospital's emergency dept will be closed Mon., June 16 at 8am to Mon., June 23 at 12pm. Virtual urgent care onsite Mon. & Tues., 8am-6:45 pm; Wed.,8am-2:30pm & Thurs.-Sun., 8am-6:45pm. Urgent treatment clinic: Sat., June 21 & Sun., June 22 from 9am-5pm by appointment only. Phone line opens at 8am both days. Call 902-366-3268 for same-day appt.
Emergency Department
Queens General Hospital emergency department is OPEN 24 hours a day from 8 a.m. Monday to Thursday. It is closed at 1:30 p.m. every Friday, and is CLOSED Saturdays and Sundays.
Virtual Urgent Care is open at Queens 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily (Mon. to Sun.), even when emergency dept. is closed.

North Cumberland Health Care Centre's Collaborative Emergency Centre (CEC) in Pugwash is temporarily closed and will reopen Thursday, June 19 at 8 a.m. Virtual urgent care will be available onsite daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. even when the CEC is closed.

The emergency department at Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston will be closed from 5 p.m. on Friday, June 20 until 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 21.

The emergency department at Guysborough Memorial Hospital will be closed:
- Tuesday, June 17 at 7 a.m. until Wednesday, June 18 at 8 a.m.
- Wednesday, June 18 at 2 p.m. until Wednesday, June 18 at 7 p.m.
- Thursday, June 19 at 7 a.m. until Friday, June 20 at 8 a.m.
Virtual urgent care is not available on Tuesday June 17. It

Digby General Hospital emergency department is closed at 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 17 and re-opens Wednesday, June 18 at 8 a.m.

Roseway Hospital emergency department is closed at 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 17 and re-opens Wednesday, June 18 at 8 a.m.

Soldiers Memorial Hospital emergency department is closed Wednesday, June 18 and re-opens Thursday, June 19 at 7:30 a.m.
Virtual Urgent Care is at SMH Mon.-Sat. from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, even when emergency dept. is closed (patients accepted up to 30 minutes before closing).
